Self Love Salon is the result of my own personal journey of healing, self love and a passion to create amazing hair.

Hair is my life, I love hair, creating beautiful shapes and colours, the confidence and happiness you can give a person when they’re in your chair is an amazing feeling and gift, but I wanted to encourage so much more than looking good aesthetically.

MORE THAN JUST LOOKS

Through my own struggles of anxiety, low self-esteem and depression, I started to create my own well-being diary, Knowing Me, which I have now had published through Amazon. My passion to encourage others to love and accept themselves is evident in these pages and in my business.

As a person who suffers with anxiety and bouts of depression, I have spent years trying different therapies. This is where my passion for holistic therapy comes from and the drive to create an amazing place where, yes you will leave with beautiful hair and nails, but you can also leave with so much more.

A feeling of self-worth, peace, confidence, tranquillity, positivity and clarity, whatever it is you choose to feel. This is why Self Love Salon exists - to provide treatments for mind, body and spirit and to love, nurture and of course pamper your true, beautiful self.

Visit us on Baldwin Street, St Helens for a wide range of bespoke hair services, such as specialised colouring, cutting, and styling. A full range of beauty treatments are available, including nails, eyelash extension, tinting, waxing, pedicures and specialist treatments like:

OUR JOURNEY

I myself have been a stylist for over 20 years. I am a qualified tutor and assessor in hairdressing and also an aromatherapist.

I continually train on courses with top artists such as Sophia Hilton, Georgia Bell, Ashleigh Hodges and many more, to keep up to date with the current trends and techniques. We regularly attend hair shows and seminars and are proud to be members of the fellowship of hairdressing and NFHB.

We are passionate about helping our beautiful nature and are an Award Winning Sustainable Salon.

We use eco shower heads to save water and filter from dirt and chlorine. We use energy saving bulbs, recycle all plastic bottles and cans and use brands such as ASP, EveryGreen and Zephorium that work to support the environment, with Vegan options available. We also recycle all foil, plastic and even hair!

We are proud to work with charities such as our local homeless charity and Pause (women's charity) to ensure that everyone has access and the tools to look and feel amazing.
